FAMILY CULTURE NIGHT

WEDNESDAY, MAY 1ST | 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

The PTSA is excited to host our annual Family Culture Night!

Each year, the PTSA organizes the much awaited Sycamore Family Cultural Night (FCN) for parents and students. It's a fun event where parents and students from different cultural heritage share their traditions, clothing, food and many other aspects of their rich and unique backgrounds. This multicultural event not only introduces the students to different cultures but also provides a window to understand and respect different values and belief systems.

Last year, 17 different ethnic backgrounds represented themselves at the event.

Would you like to represent your heritage/culture?

Consider hosting a table! Each table is hosted by one (or a group) of school families and we also have performances throughout the evening.

  1. Fill out this Google form to represent your heritage by hosting a table at FCN

  2. Fill out this Google form if you want to perform a dance or song at FCN

Space is limited, and the deadline to submit the form is April 10th.

How to Host a Table

In the past, the hosts have provided an immersive experience of their cultures by offering their unique food samples, displaying their  local artifacts, dressing up in traditional clothing, sharing interesting facts through posters, and performing cultural dances and songs.

Do you have a cultural dance or song that you would like to share? Yes, you can perform at the FCN.
